Medical Coalition Calls for Reinstatement of ACIP Panel

Kennedy Jr. expressing concern over the recent decision to terminate the entire membership of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The letter urges Secretary Kennedy to reinstate the terminated ACIP members and honor their commitments to serve through the end of their terms. Upon the conclusion of their terms, the coalition asks that Secretary Kennedy follow the public process for ACIP nominations and member selection. Subject-matter expertise should be prioritized as part of this process.
